HDMI Output problem on PCG-5S1M

Trying to help a friend here who's HDMI output to TV doesn't appear to be working on her VAIO PCG-5S1M Laptop. I've tested the TV's HDMI input using my Mac and that works fine but there's just no picture display on her Sony when connecting to the TV.

She's running Windows 7 and I've tried to locate the graphics card driver for her machine on the Sony site but the model number doesn't appear!?

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

You are using the chassis reference have a look on the screen surround or above the keyboard for the product reference – possibly VGN-SRxx

Thanks for this. I've found the model number. It's VGN-SR41M but I still can't seem to find drivers on the Sony website?
