I've just bought a new Sony Vaio and am trying to access the internet via an in-house wireless connection. But it either keeps cutting out or not letting me connect at all even though it says I'm connected and the signal is excellent. I've altered the firewall settings etcs. Could the fact that the wireless moden is an 802.11g whereas the new laptop is a 'g' be an issue?
