Preinstalled software and drivers after Windows 7 installation

Hi,

Can anybody help with the following please:

I purchased a VAIO noteboog VGN-TZ31XN/B some years ago with Vista preinstalled.

Now I changed to Windows 7 Ultimate and installed. It works fine but all preinstalled programs and drivers are not there anymore. Some drivers are there but for example the camera cannot be found etc.

How can I get all preinstalled programs including monitors etc as well as all drivers for all hardware installed?

Hi marwiltg,

If you had carried out an in-place upgrade from Vista to Win 7 all pre-installed software compatible drivers and utilities would have been retained. I assume you have opted for a clean install?

Drivers and utilitis can be downloaded from the Support site but most original pre-installed software cannot be downloaded. If the drivers and utilities you need are not available under Win 7 upgrade then the original Vista version should work - assuming of course that you opted for the 32 Bit version of Win 7.
