Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help, please note I have fairly basic computer skills.

I have been using an Apple bluetooth keyboard with my laptop for some time, quite often it would disconnect for no apparent reason and then reconnect after a minute or two which is quite frustrating.

As I am quite keen on updating my software regulalry such as windows 7 64, I checked my Vaio Update which recentley told me to download new software from Broadcom for the Bluetooth function which I did.

Now I have a problem where the keyboard is losing connection far more regulalry and to make matters worse quite often it is losing connection completely and no matter what I do (disconnect/reconnect device, troubleshoot, turn bluetooth off and on) the keyboard just wont reconnect.

At this point I try and reboot and windows will then go to the shutting down screen whre it will remain until I am forced to manually shut down by holding down the power button.

When I reboot the keyboard may or may not work and the same problems continue.

Can anyone help me overcome this problem permanently?

I would be very grateful as this issue is severely disrupting my work.

Thanks v much,

Zino
