XL-201 - Cannot eject DVD after Vista Upgrade

Hello there,

I am posting here in order to find a solution.
My vista upgrade went quite well on my XL201; all seems to work smoothly except with the dvd player : no way to get my media back after inserted it in the computer.

The only to eject is to go on : computer, driver letter, right click, eject.

Is there something to install or to check in vista in order to get my dvd drive working again ???

Hi Dacafrema

Did you install the utilities after you upgraded to Vista..?

Normally downloading the utilities listed below from here and then installing the following should solve your problem..

1 SonyUtils DLL
2 Sony Shared Library
3 Vaio Event Service

Once completed then re-boot your vaio.

You may have to do this more than once..
