Please help I cannot create a restore point on my VGC RA 304, also I cannot restore to a date where there is one?

I dont know what is the exact message but it just reverts to the currant condition, I am not experiencing any problems at the moment it's just concerns me that should I have to revert to a point in the past I will not be able to.

It sounds like the drive log table may have become corrupted. You may find some Tips and Tricks here: -

If all else fails, you may have to reinstall System Restore from C:\WINDOWS\Inf

Hope it works.

The other common cause is Norton (surprise, surprise) if you are using it.

If you are using a Norton Product, you may have to temporarily turn off the feature "Turn on protection for my Symantec product".

Yet another reason not to use Norton
