Just brought a new Sony laptop from pc world and looked online at the Sony site before purchase, it clearly says-

VAIO E15 Series with Intel® CoreTM i5-3230M, HDMI

Model Number: SVE1513M1EW.CEK

• Sleep for days, resume in seconds with Rapid Wake + Eco

• Go easy with Backlit Keyboard and large Touchpad

So I went and brought this model, I can't find any support on it on the website and can't find out how to work the backlit keyboard it so clearly advertises! Please help!

Hi Kimmay29 and welcome.

I guess this is a new model and the Vaio Support website has not been updated.

I presume this is the webpage you looked at before buying: -

You are right - it clearly says backlit keyboard at the top of the page but if you look down the Technical Specifications under Keyboard, it says "Backlit = No".

If I were you, I would take this up with PC World and I will try to get more information from Sony.
