hey i believe that laptop has ATI's integrated gfx solution right?

its possible to change the configuration of the gfx card in the Bios menu by pressing F2 and startup and altering its memory

The video card shares its memory with the ram, hence why sony have shipped it with only 64mb of of memory. If you were to increase your ram tho to say 1 gig, then you could surely allocate your video memory to 128mb (note this doesnt mean that the gfx card will suddenlly start functioning like a ati 9600 or something!) tho it should allow u play games abit smoother

Hey Guys, i have a PCG-K195BP and i have heard the graphics card is 64mb standard but can be put up to 128mb

I am unsure how to do this and if i do it then what will happen, i mean why didnt Sony just put a 128mb instead.....they must have reason for not doing this. Anyways it would be cool to put it up for some games i have,

Any info on this would be great

Thanks All

Sam
