When you select an avi it automatically gets properties about the file and depending on your settings can allow you to view a preview. This is great but causes the file to be locked and hense your problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The easiest way around the problem is to rename the extension to something else then you can delete it fine. Alternatively you could delete the file from the command line.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a Divx file of 700meg which i cannot delete.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It shows up the usual, this file is being used by another programme/person, please close down etc. But ive closed down all things possible and no result.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, when i try to delete it, explorer.exe suddenly overloads and takes up 99% CPU usage (its doing it as we speak). When i end explorer.exe i cant open anything and have to restart.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;thanks to any replies&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;zero&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
