Windows 8 Driver for VGP-PRZ20 Dock

Hi all,

Is there any information available as to when a Windows 8 compatible driver will be released for the VGP-PRZ20 dock? I'll be using it with a Vaio Z (model SVZ1311C5E).

Any advice would be most appreciated!

Hi amsar333 and welcome.

It appears that this may never be possible. You will just have to wait and see.

Sony are saying this is only compatible with Windows 7.

I see Sony are now selling new SVZ-Series Vaios with Windows 7 installed which would seem to confirm this.

Thanks for your reply.

I also saw the Sony statement that the dock is only compatible with Windows 7, which doesn't give much confidence that Windows 8 drivers will ever become available. Rather disappointing for a product with such a premium price tag.

Having taken the hint, I've done a clean reinstall of Windows 7 and will just stick with this (wasn't much of a fan of Windows 8 in any event).
