LCD Screen Bright White force reset.

Hello. I have had my VGN-A397XP for 3-4 months now and have had a problem come up recently.
The problem is that if the screen is on for a while all of a sudden all the pixels go to white! basically like it just died now depending what i have running i can go thru my options blind to shutdown the vaio, but in sum cases i have been forced to remove the battery to shutdown, upon a restart the screen is back to normal.

it is not a hibernate option or screen saver. i have attempted every button and combination to get the screen back on a gain but to no results.

The problem doesnt resolve over time either, one time i left the screen pure white for 3-4 hours to see if it will resolve. but still nothing.

now as the vaio nearly cost me £2000 im certainly worried here or whats going to happen.

if anyone has any advis or info please can you post below.

doesn't sound good! ;_;

what would sony be able to do in this case im sure it should be under the 1st year warrantee?

They would replace either the inverter or LCD for you.

If it's under warranty it should be done for free
