installation one program with cd restore is it possible or not

hello,
i have make a error i have erase a file for the vaio media center and it doesn't work.

is it possible to use the cd restore to install only this program.

On my recovery CD I would somehow need to manually unpack them.

In my case it would be easier to go to Vaio Link and download the latest media centre upgrade. Hopefully the deleted file would be reinstalled.
