    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;There are no problems in upgrading to XP Pro – the struggle starts when you need to install the Sony applications. I have done this but didn’t need or want any of the pre-installed applications, just the utilities - no problem there as they are available on Vaio-Link.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There are ways and means but it is not always straightforward. Have a look at this guide produced by James, a fellow CV member . &lt;A href="http://www.xgsystems.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=21" target="_blank"&gt;LINK&lt;/A&gt; &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I assume that you desperately need one or more of the additional features that XP Pro includes?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;My VGN A417S is now working fine having had a replacement HD and DVD drive. Anyway my Q? is regarding upgrade to XP PRO.
