Hi, are the Vaio GPU's upgradable at all or is it like other notebooks where your out of luck when it comes to graphic card enhancements ?

maybe it is possible...........

if your laptop has a newer nvidia GPU, it may be compatible with MXM- the upgradable graphics standard for laptops

The MXM standard looks like it could be a really good step forward for notebooks.

The fact that alot of notebook manufacturers are getting in on the act is also very promising and shows me personally that they are not just there to take my money.

As for it my notebook is MXM compatible, I have no idea. I dont think it will be either. It is a new notebook but the model is not that recent. Looks like I will have to stick to my desktop for gaming then.
