Volume & Contrast Buttons

Hi,

I have a VGN-S2HP, but the volume and contrast buttons have stopped working.

I tried re-installing the utilities again which I found could help while searching on here, but this hasnt resolved the problem.

If anybody has any other ideas which I could try it world be much appreciated!

Try installing the utilities again, maybe be a couple of times, followed by a re-boot each time. A number of members have reported that it didn't work on the first occasion.

Personnaly I have the VGN S2XP one but I suppose it's nearly the same system. As you, I had a similar problem. To resolve it I reset the pgm and I start again with the sauvegard of installation. And all is right since. Probably it's question of drivers of sound Max, you can doanload it by Onternet and It will free ! Good Luck

Hi, ive got little diffrent problem with S4HP. The vol. and brigh. buttons are work, but the changing of it dont visiable on the screen (without scale). It is vary rare, but happens. Do u know the solve?
