I would like to be able to choose the books for purchase on the basis of their typefaces, page layouts, illustrations and so on. This makes a particular difference with classic authors such as Charles Dickens, whose works can be got for free, but not always in particularly attractive formats. I would be prepared to pay for more appealing editions, if only it were possible to preview them.
