I am unable to transfer videos from my DCR-HC19E to Windows 10

I have not used this video camera for a few years and want to put them on my PC

I have downloaded PlayMemories but OSM says camera not connected, i have made sure it is on USB stream, i have tried different leads but still no joy

Is there a program that i need to download

Hi Papadoc70 and welcome.

Transfer is no longer supported using USB ( I think it only worked with XP).

Only iLink (Firewire) connections are now supported by Playmemories.

The only alternative if you don't have an iLink connection on your PC or your HDD Video Recorder is to use the A/V connecting cable that came with the camera and to purchase a USB Video Capture Device from somewhere like Amazon.
