topic Focus failing 200-600G traced to Electronic Noise in Alpha & NEX interchangeable lens cameras

Bought the 200-600G on Friday, original problem:

AF works sometimes but when it doesn't cant see anything in focus with 1/2000 ISO 100-6400 wide open

Have been using the Sony 135 f1.8 without issue

Looked at the sky and could see some electronic noise swirling round, not always there

Tried changing various settings, Airplane mode, display mode then found Picture Profile 9 makes the noise really stand out when the lens cap is on

Then found that in PP9 it shows this even with no lens on the body!

Still takes tac sharp photos with the 135 f1.8 with full AF

Don't see the noise in the photos from the 200-600 but they are mushy

All recently bought equipment - what's the best way to proceed with this?

(Note taking this photo with my Pixel 6 Pro makes it look much more vivid than it is in real life as it does a "night mode" enhancement! On PP10 it's hardly visible but the Pixel 6 Pro photo PP10 looks almost as bad as this one)

even with no lens now

Thanks,

Chris

If you tested the lens with other bodies and it's the same, I think it's time to give Sony a call buddy.
