Hi,

I have the HCD-GTZ3i stereo and im wanting to play music from a normal USB stick, but it keeps coming up saying 'Not Supported'?

Does it need to be in a certain format? mp3/WAV etc..?

Please help

Hi,

The system can play the following format of audio files:

– MP3 with file extension “.mp3”.

– AAC with file extension “.m4a”, “.3gp”, “.mp4”.

– Windows Media Audio (WMA) with file extension “.wma”.

When i try either of those it still says not supported?

does the usb stick need to be formatted in a certain way?

USB device formatted with file systems other than FAT16 or FAT32 are unsupported, so, only FAT16 or FAT32...

thanks i have just created a usb in FAT32 and copied an MP3 file to it.

Will test tonight and let you know if it works.
