Nm a45 walkman sound issue

For some reason when I play my walkman after not using it for a bit the track plays but no sound? Then after a minute or so it starts to output. The track is playing, I just have to wait?! This is with headphones plugged in by the way.

Any ideas??

Welcome to the Sony Community.

Can you try to reset your Walkman player. If the issue is not solved, charge the player for about 30 minutes, then try to reset again.

When you say reset. Do you mean power off. Then back on? Or do you mean a full factory restore/reset?

So far, so good. But the original problem was very random. I'll give it a day or 2 before I update you all.

Hi guys

Unfortunately it hasn't worked. Just now I picked it up, switched hold button to unlock it, plugged headphones in and pressed play. Begins to play, you can see on the display, but no sound. 30 seconds or so later the sound will suddenly output 😕
