I currently own several Sony Products.

MRZ700 minidisc

NWZ-A829

CMT-BX5BT

My question is this.

I have recently been using the bluetooth capability on the NWZ-A829 to connect to the CMT-BX5BT. I am not able to use the volume control once the connection is established with the CMT....

Is there a Firmware update for the NWZ-A829 that will update the a2dp Bluetooth capabilities?

I realize that this device is 12 years old now but I would really like to keep this device in service.

I can easily use my samsung galaxy S II Epic Touch to connect and it works great. but I love this little sony when I just want movie or music.

I hope someone from Sony is listening. I hope they have not given up on updating the firmware capabilities.

The last update for your NWZ-A829 was software update on 02 /12 / 2009 & on checking with Sony there does not appear to be any updates planned..

When your walkman is connected to the CMT-BX5BT are you not able to increase or decrease the volume of the CMT-BX5BT..:smileyconfused:
