WF-1000XM3 Static Noise Issue

I've had my WF-1000XM3 for around 2-3 weeks now and yesterday the right earbud has started to make a loud static/wind-like noise whenever it's in noise cancelling mode after an hour or two of use, does anybody know what's caused this and the fix for it if there is one. Thank you

I think calling the Sony service centre is the way to go: 01656 867347
