Sony SRS- XB01 wireless speaker no longer charging

Hi,

I bought this speaker last August. It was great - brilliant sound and bass better than I thought it would be for such a small speaker. About 2 weeks ago it simply refused to charge. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi,

Maybe a defective charger or charging socket...

I would recommend to send the set to a repair centre for further inspection.

Hi Peter

thanks for your reply. I think I’m using the original charger. I have just looked at the troubleshooting section on this website and they suggest resetting - which I have done. So I’ll try charging it again and if that doesn’t work - I will contact the service centre - I ‘ve tried charging it in 2 different mains sockets and via my laptop - so I’ll see whether resetting and another different socket solves the problem
