Tried searching for this problem, but can't find anything specific.

When I make a call or if someone calls me on my phone connected through Bluetooth on this device.

I can hear the caller very clear, but apparently they can't hear me too well. The mic is set to Hi. Is there any other way to make me sound louder when making a call?

Hi,

Using the external microphone XA-MC10 might improve the call quality.

I did think about an external mic. Are they easy to fit?

Looks like I've found out what the problem is.

The unit was already fitted when I bought the car. Just took out the unit and there was a external mic already plugged in, which was bundled up at the back of the where the radio is fitted.

I'm guessing it disables the internal mic when plugged in which in turn made my calls very quiet because of the location of the external mic.

Seems to be a lot clearer now I have disconnected the external mic.
