Bluray BDPS4100 HELP

Hi all ,

I just bought a bluray BDPS4100.

I can't get it to play standard DVDs eveytime I try to play one the machine says empty. The instructions say its complatable so why won't it pick them up.

Bluray disc play fine.

I tried young guns 1 , back to the future, finding memo & Disney cars.

None of them would be picked up.
