https://community.sony.com.mk/t5/general-chat/new-hdr-cx280e-camcorder/m-p/1629965#M4110 <P>I have just purchased a Sony HDR -CX280E camcorder (uses SD).&nbsp; The HDMI cable is great and plays bacck through my TV HDMI connection.&nbsp; However it also has a Multi terminal which according to the instruction book can link with an AV cable to a dvd recorder and record onto a normal disc which comes out in STD standard.&nbsp; I have three choices in which to video HD/MPEG4/STD.&nbsp; So I bought a vktech VMC-15MR2 AV cable and set it up between the multi terminal and my dvd recorder and got nothing - no sound or picture with the playback.&nbsp; I then bought what I took to be a proper Sony made VMC-15MR2 from ExPro but this didn't work also.&nbsp; I even tried videoing in STD thinking the HD footage was the problem but&nbsp;that didn't work either.
