Naming HDMI inputs

S have a UK Sony TV model KDL-40HX803 I am trying to find out how you name the HDMI inputs. Sony have told me that it is not possible but when I had the TV installed the installer named 3 of these inputs so I know it can be done I just cannot find how to do it.

Hi there

The only way that I know is if you give the input a "label"

Press the [Home] Button on the remote control
Goto "Settings"
Goto "External Inputs"
Goto "AV Presets"
Use the arrow keys on the remote to go across to "Label" and press [OK] - Give it a name
