SD card help

I am having lots of problems with my 8GB SD card and hope someone can help!

I am unable to download the videos, I can't seem to find them in any of the folders that come up.

Also the card says nothing is on it yet it only has 1.7GB free. I think I need to reformat it but a) don't knw how and b) don't want to do this until I can be sure the videos have been copied.

Can anyone help? Thank you so much!

As you have posted in the general section you'll need to provide more information in order for someone from the community to be able to help you..
Please provide as much information on exactly what you are trying to do, aslo include product type & model numbers you are using the SD card in.?
The more info you give the easier it may be for someone to help..
