Z5 will not download Gmail attachment / app updates / PDF files in Chrome

Hi,

My phone will not download Gmail attachment or any app updates from the Play store or any pdf file from any Web page using Chrome when I am connected to the Internet via mobile, it does not work with 2g/3g/4g.

I am online and can browse with chrome, open emails or search the play store but when I start to download it just takes forever and finally the download is canceled.

When I am online in any WiFi, it works just fine.

Phone and apps have the newest updates installed. Download via mobile is activated in play store.

Any idea?

Hi Holzzelt,

Welcome to the community,

Can you please try downloading the Internet settings to the device.

Menu > Settings > More > Internet Settings > Accept Disclaimer > Choose network carrier

Once downloaded try downloading again.

Unfortunately, it did not work. I reset the device to factory defaults and now it seems to work fine.
