Sony Support has not been able to help me with this. I'm trying to use SMS messaging and the talk to text starts to show up in the field, but then erases itself automatically. The talk to text works fine when I'm using Whatsapp. Can anybody help? I'm totally stuck with this one.

I'm using the messaging system that comes with the phone. I tried using the Google keyboard as well as the xperia, and they both have the same problem. It still does it during safe mode. Very confusing. The problem is that it works most of the time. When it starts working, it works all the time. It's mostly just when I try the first time that the words erase themselves as they're showing up on the screen.
