Music app cannot work when the screen are closed!!!!

Android6.0.1

z5 compact.

When I play music in the music app made by sony and closed the screen,the music will play 1 minute and stop,even when I turn off the stamina and add it into the white list,but it dosen't work.

Others apps which can play music also meet this problem.Some music apps need the wifi,they can't work when the screen are closed too.

What can I do to fix it?

Walkman should work normally. Can you check if the same occurs in safe mode?

I've seen this site and I don't think it can help me to solve this problem..........

I didn't use it in safe mode,because I used the safe mode when the system is 5.1.1 and when I restrat it,the widgets were disappered.....So,unless it is a big issuse,I don't want to use this mode.But I used it in ultra stamina mode and it worked normally!!I have no idea to explain what happened.How to solve this problem?

I think ultra stamina also disables many apps, so my guess is that you have a 3rd party app that somehow closes your apps when the phone goes to sleep.

But I used the same apps in 5.1.1 and never meet this problem.So I think it is doze or stamina which has caused the problem......I have no idea,and must test it in various settings.

oh no,I used the music app(walkman) play music with the screen lighting,it stopped again........And maybe the video app meet the same problem?

Video app should not work when the screen is turned off. Not sure about walkman, I haven't experienced the same on Z5c or Z5 or Z2 on marshmallow. I still suggest you to try safe mode.

I think it must be a bug in android6.0.1,because there are someone else said that they met the same problem with their xperia x series.I do konw vedio app can't work when I turn off screen.I just thought that I met the same problem in vedio&music apps when the screen is lighting,not just with the screen turned off.......

I used all the same apps(about 100 apps) in 5.1.1 and didn't find this problem.So I think it must be 6.0.1's bug.....

@sonnny You can't say it is a bug if it is not generally replicable, I cannot replicate and music has been going on for 5 minutes with screen off on Z5c and Z5 running 6.0.1.

See what your Local support suggests.

Just like what you said,it is an app made this issue.When I stop it,the music app works normally.
