Hi all,

The issue is that I when I have the phone set with 4G set to "on", via the pull down menu. I can recieve calls so long as the 4G signal is avavilable once the signal disappears I am unable to make or recieve calls. However when I have turned the 4G off which then allows the data signal revert to E, H or G. I can then get the calls I should be recieving. Please note that I dont move location so the data signal doesnt change.

I suppose in a nutshell I'm saying if it loses the 4G data connection the calls fail

I thought that calls(2G) were seperate from the data (3G or 4G)

Is there an issue with the phone or are sony struggling with 4G?

Hope this makes sence.

Thanks in advance

Hi @EnzoF,

Welcome to the community.

Can you please go to Settings > More > Mobile Networks > Preferred Network Type. Make sure you don't have it set to LTE or 4G Only. It should be LTE/4G preferred.
