Predictive text no longer works

So I went to use my phone this morning and predictive text no longer works on Google Chrome. It works fine on Facebook, messenger, messages etc. Has anyone else had this problem and any ideas on how to fix it?

Do you use xperia keyboard? I think I've noticed the same in Chrome when completing forms (like writing a post on this forum).

Yeah, just the standard Xperia phone pad. I've switched to qwerty for the time being

I have the same issue when using chrome. All other browsers are fine. Any fix yet?

Causing me trouble in the past few days too. Using my phone right now to create this reply and predictive text T9 is not working. Had to turn on Multi tap.

Must have been some sort of update to Chrome.

I've got the same problem; very specific to the T9 keybord where it looks like it doesn't have access to the dictionary and outputs random text. I have noticed it in Yahoo Mail and the Amazon Shopping app, so it looks like it happens with text boxes in different apps.

I have a Xperia Z5 E6653 but i can not seem to get the predictive text working. Ive never had any problems before with it. Please help?
