Z3 Compact + Headphones + VR apps = Does not work

Plugging headphones into the Z3 Compact seems to mess with the phones sensors, making virtual reality apps totally unusable, as the image jumps all over the place.

Are there any known fixes for this problem?

Which VR apps are you using? have you reported this to the app devs? which headphones are you using?

Its a problem with every VR app, ive tried a lot of them. Ive tried multiple headphones (powered and unpowered, noise cancelling and regular), and they all cause the same problem. I havent tried bluetooth headphones but they might work, it seems to be a problem just with the headphone jack.

I've searched Reddit and found several threads with the same thing reported. As far as I know, this is a problem across all Z3 Compacts, i've never seen anyone say that this combination works for them.

Here is a video from a different thread showing the exact problem. Notice how when he plugs in headphones the screen constantly recenters itself:

I have Xperia z3 dual, and I have same problem!! Without headphones working corectly, but when I pluged in jack on headphones view is jumping!

Same here Z3 D6603 with The evil VR app
