Will cases designed for the Z3 also fit the Z3+?

Hi,

Just wondering, will cases designed for the Z3 also fit the Z3+? I want to protect my new phone when it arrives but I haven't been able to find the answer to this yet. Therefore, I haven't purchased a case.

Thanks in advance for any asisitance with this question.

Will not fit... Z3+ was just a Branding name... It's actually the Z4 and a different body than Z3. Best cases for Z4 are made by Sony and rayout in Japan (eBay, yodabashi camera etc)

I agree, they might be simillar in sizes but z3+ is actually a bit more thinner than the z3,

Hi @techjunkymonkey,

Although similar in size I'd recommend a case designed for the Z3 for the Z3 and a case designed for the Z3+ for the Z3+ for the best possible fit.

As previously mentioned in this thread, the Xperia Z3+ is a little thinner than the Z3. You can look up the dimensions for both products on the links below.

The Xperia z3 case can fit z3 plus, as I am using it, but z3 plus has less flaps and charging port on bottom, but z3 has more flaps with magnetic connection port, so case of z3 has lots of free openings in left side, which makes you feel that your is not protected well when z3 case is used with z3 plus

Good point! Although they might fit the hole made for the magnetic charging port will stick out if a case made for the Xperia Z3 is used on a Z3+, it's also worth mentioning that the cover/case will most likely not be a perfect fit for the phone.
