      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sorry for my english...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The screen has an area of brighter backlight in its center. Looks like a brighter horizontal line, especially on white backgrounds. So the most material apps are very uncomfortable to use!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I'd try first to boot in&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/safe+mode/pd-p/safe_mode" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="187-1"&gt;safe mode&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;and check if it occurs there, just to make sure it's not a software issue. But most probably&amp;nbsp;it's hardware, and I strongly suggest that you contact your&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/Local+support/pd-p/contact_us" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="13-1"&gt;Local support&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;to get it examined.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Don't expect the worse, it's a new phone and if you didn't drop or damage it then it might be a manufacturing defect. I assume also that you have warranty, so just go and get it examined by authorized professional.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
