Snapchat filters does not work

I have a xperia z1 compact, one month ago Snapchat worked perfectly in my mobile phone, but one day the filters of the vídeos stop working, and i think is a problem of the mobile versión... Someone know what is the problem or how can i solve it?

Hi @Gadi,

Since Snapchat isn't an app developed by Sony Mobile we can't really provide support for it. Have you tried uninstalling the app then downloading it again from Google Play? If not then I suggest that you give it a try.

I'm having the same problem.
I tried to contact snapchat crew, but nothing 'til now.
than I put this question to my followers and everyone that have sony device are having the same problem (other android users aren't having those problems).

Having same problem. The dancing hotdog doesn't move up or down just stays there. Anyone know of a fix?

Already did. Is this phone so new that they didnt program it as yet? Xperia xa1 ultra is what I'm using.

I'm facing the same issue. And one fact behind Snapchat’s success is its cool filters, In which user can change the face within no time at all. But sometimes these filters do not work. But while searching the web I found the solution to fix the Snapchat filter not working Issue.

mine was the same, I rang Sony tonight. They tell the problem is the apps (snapchat) since the update on Sony, this means the apps are now needing to be updated so we need to co tact the app developers. So he said u less snapchat sorts it out. It won't be fixed anytime soon.

I have the same problem. I was using the snap filters and lenses on Xperia for years with no problems.... Then 6 months ago stopped working. Xperia XA1 and older Xperia. Have contacted the app developers and they have been useless so far. If anyone has a solution for this I would love to hear it. Phone is updated and latest version installed of all apps.
