Z5 compact wont play videos

Hello, my newly acquired Z5 compact wont play videos anymore. Youtube works fine, but videos sent to me on facebook messenger and videos online wont work (GIFs etc.)

Anyone know what might be wrong?

Which app are you using to see the GIFs? do you have the latest facebook app? how fast is the connection?

Everything is up to date, it just suddenly stopped working a few days ago. I use chrome when browsing, and its basically in chrome and fb messenger it wont work.

settings > apps > all > chrome/fb > clear data > restart the phone

how fast is the connection (data/wifi)? you can use speedtest, do you have any antivirus, taskiller, battery apps, etc?

It seems that chrome works fine now, except for a few videos but I guess that must be on their end as most others work now. Fb messenger still doesnt work, might be a problem on their part aswell? My internet is 70/70 or something, fibery. Tried both wifi and mobile data. I have downloaded clean master, may this be causing these issues?
