Data usage start date day?

Hi, Please could anyone help?

How do I change the start date day of the month for the Data usage cycle on my Xperia Z ?

Mine is still on 20th for example so has 20 July - 19 Aug. The way it came when I bought it from new.

I would like to change this to my actual billing cycle of 14 July -13 Aug.

I cannot find anything in the settings to change it.

The drop down box will only change to another month, say 20 Aug - 19 Sept for example.

settings > data usage > tap on the Data usage cycle > you should get a drop down menu > Change cycle... voila, done

Thank you for your quick responce.

the only drop down menu I can find is the one I said though, which will only change the month.

Please see the screenshot I have just captured. Maybe I am missing something though.

Well Thank you so much uliwooly it was there!! just below 20 Jan - 19 Feb1970 🙂

I was giving up before when I not only got back to the year 1995, but the phone was also becoming un-reponsive with an error message pop-up asking me to 'wait' or 'stop the app'. So I stopped the app before. So this time I tapped wait and waited for the phone to become responsive again after a while, I then scrolled down and down again but slowly, so as not to cause it to go un-responsive again with another error message. So Thank you again uliwooly for your help 🙂

So, I have also learned a lesson on not to scroll down to quickly on drop down menus too :smileygrin:

Hello,

My Z doesnt have this option. Less than 2 months old, it only has 2 months listed and nothing else

You need to TURN OFF WIFI and TURN ON CELLULAR DATA, after that, when you tap the date, the option to change it will show up.

If you're on wifi - you do not get the option to change dates.

Unfortunately, this only doves the problem for the mobile data usage cycle, there is unfortunately no way to change the cycle for the WiFi data usage cycle. This is an oversight by the developers.

My drop down menu won't drop down at all. Please could you help with this?
