how to remove cell icon

hi everyone...i have a doubt, and i cant resolve it , before MM update...how can i remove the cell icon?...i've tried with off in permissions options, but not..here an image...

Hi,

This looks like a notification from an installed app. Try to tap and hold on this notification and press "i". You should see the name of the app and depending on the app, you may be able to block its notification there.

not, its not a recent app...and I tried pressing the "i" and leads me to notifications ... which also disabled it

hi!

when I upgraded to MM, I did a factory reset ... and icon began to appear. if I turn it off and / or restart, still appears.
in my old z3 also he appeared and disable but do not know how important it can be compared to that icon that allows you to receive SMS, calls, etc.

It's the Cell Information app and you can currently only hide that icon by force stopping the Cell Information app. There is no way to block the app from its persistent notification nor removing from status bar.

Hey Sony mobile! Terrible user experience having to leave with this notification on my screen. Seems a global problem! Please fix that!

None of these "solutions" can be used on the XZ2 with Android 8.0. The referenced fix idea does not exist .

-Drag statusbar down.

-Hold Cell Information.

-Tap cell information under "Categories".

-Select "Low".
