Xperia Z5 dual - Issue with in call volume

In every single call the phone resets the in call volume to max. I set the volume to the lowest in every call but phone resets it back to maximum volume in next call automatically.

It's a horrible nuisance to reduce the volume each time and my ear now hurts badly. Though I reduce the volume each time, the first one or two sounds are still loud before volume reduction.

I think there is a 3rd party app involved. I am sure facebook messenger reverts the volume to lowest after every call, so in your case you should boot in safe mode and check.

Thanks for the info.

I didn't take it seriously at first but today I realized that I do have a software that records my calls and I've selected an option in that software to increase call volume, disabling that option made things normal for me.

I feel so stupid.
