camera doens't work

After updating Android the camera of Z3 compact doens't work anymore. No. Help from Sony Experia care no help from Sony PC compaiono.

Try the following:

- Go to Settings -> Apps -> All -> Camera -> Clear data and restart your phone.

Thanks but camera still Black after the apps clearing. After one month buying it was big delusion

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion.The process will erase all internal memory.You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 80% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

I also have the same issue, but the PC repair also didn't fix it, not sure what to do now?

No way sorry for you theab. I tryied everithing but no way to solve the problem . I drove to Sony assistent center to give my Z3 compact to send to Sony for ceck the phone. ....If you hav ethe same problem I can say It is a problem of Z3 compact after upadting the software ....

I don't know yet . I gave my phone yesterday to Italian Sony Center . It takes from 7 to 15 working days to have news .....

After installing the update the rear camera no longer works. But the two front cameras alternate ... How can I do?

Try:

Settings/applications /caméra

Click the two selections: force to stop and desactive the application

Then the application may disapers from your deskstop. Go to the applications folder and search for the camera and lunch it.
