ring volume not working

Hi Sony staff, I am currently having an issue with the ring volume. When I enter my Settings tab and go to Sound and Notifications, I cannot adjust my ring volume, it just displays a bell symbol with no slider in the Ring Volume section. Media and Alarm volumes work fine. Can anyone assist? Thanks

Hi,

Could you make sure that you have not set the phone into silent mode by pressing the volume up(+) button 2-3 times. When the phone is set in silent mode, you will not be able to adjust the ring volume via Settings > Sound & notification.

Thanks Hampus but how do I fix that, I have tried pressing the volume 3 times (+), but nothing adjusts.
