Download takes forever & Unable to cancel it

Hello! First of all, I would like to apologize if there's a thread similiar to this (I can't seem to find it lol.... *eyes bleed*)

Anyways, lets get to the point. I've been using my Xperia Z for almost 2 months now and so far so good No problem at all~ And recently I updated my version to 10.3.1.A.0.244 through Update Center. And of course, awesome update by the way especially on the Screen UI/Screen brightness etc etc big improvement!

Ok so, I was going to update my Album and Walkman app through Update Center too. But somehow, the download bar just stuck there forever and I can't cancel the installation too ._. Is there any solution to this?

And well, after restarting my phone, unfortunately it's still there, nothing changes. Download bar still remain stuck and can't click the "X" button to cancel.

ok I see it

1. you do NOT need this apps

taskillers

task managers

antivirus

ram apps

battery apps

booster apps

uninstall them and restart your phone

2. did you started downloading the apps with wifi? perhaps you have your phone set up just to download this when wifi is present.

You can try this

settings > apps >all > update cetner > clear everything > restart your phone

1) I uninstalled everything you've mentioned I had on my phone(task killer/battery app) and also restarted my phone, the download bar is still there though haha! And I've just learnt that those apps doesn't do good to the phone lol. Thanks for the advice!

2) *double check my settings* Nope nope, I always uses my mobile data to download stufffs. :smileysmileywink:

3) settings > apps >all > update cetner > clear everything > restart your phone :smileysmileythumbsup: This totally works!! Yay! I can redownload my sony apps again XD http://puu.sh/4w37t.jpg

Just touch and hold the download bar in the tasks roll down thing that can be swiped down from the top.

Then "force stop" the download manager

then "Clear Data"

Thus the temporary files for the downloads also get cleared..
