The headset not supported

Hi I just buy a new Sony Z3 Compact and i have a old headset Sony MH410C from my old Sony St18i. I've tried to plug in the headset and Sony Z3 Compact display a pop up said that "headset not supported....". I searched but not found any solution, try to clear data and cache of smart connect it's still warning. Is there any problem with my phone or my headset or my OS. The headset still working well! Thank you.

Different standard, you need an CTIA not OMTP,youhave two options, either get an OMTP <> CTIA adapter or a new pair of headphones

Oops. Is Sony Z3C support CTIA or OMTP? Maybe i should buy a new one

New phones use CTIA, like the Z3.

2010 and 2011 Xperias use OMTP standard and 2012 until now CTIA
