I think the only difference is the lte frequency they support.

Hi @Asayed,

You can see if you have an update available for your phone if you go to Settings > About phone > Software update. You can also connect your phone to PC Companion / Bridge for Mac and it will search for available updates.
Like @uliwooly pointed out update availability does vary between regions. You can find more information on software updates here.

The provided links regarding the device update are not spesific. The model D6683 is not mentioned anywhere on Sony sites. Kindly provide an answer to the following question:

Is the Sony Xperia Z3 Dual - D6683 going to get updated to Android 6 or not?
