Ummm I dont know how to add the picture basically I want to get ride of the keyboard icon that comes up when I start typing

You mean the icon in the nav bar? That icon lets you switch between different keyboards if you have multiple ones installed. It's an android feature and you can't turn it off.

If you only have one input method. ie turn off google voice commands, and any other keyboard. The symbol will not show.
