No sound in radio

I don't use radio frequently but it was working before lollipop update. Now when I turned on the radio there is no sound neither in earphones nor in speaker mode.
But when I select TrackId option in radio and again come back to radio and switch the mode from speaker to earphones or earphone to speaker, the sound comes only for few seconds. Then again no sound after that. Please help.

Settings > apps > all > radio > clear data > restart the phone > report back
