Full chasse replacement

My z1 is deadly scratched on all of it is sides + my phone was waterdamaged but rice saved me , i was thinkimg if i got a chasse replacement with adhessibes will it fix waterproofs ? Alot of websites says it does with the orhinal adhesive , and can i ask sony service center to do this for me?

Contact your local Xperia care and ask how much they will charge you to replace the housing and or the back panel or screen

I just want to know will it really fix the waterproofness it they applied a waterproof adhesive?

Only they can answer that question, think about it, if either the housing, flaps/covers, back panel, screen, speakers, etc are damaged there's no way that the adhesive could do so, you need to get it inspected.

The glass backcover is relatively easy to replace, but since you don't have the machine to glue it back to the phone, very little chance of to retain waterproof.

The metal frame? In order to replace that, you have completely take your phone apart. I suggest you talk to your local Sony service centre, see if they can do it for you, with you paying the parts and labour for this repair.

Yes i will ofc take it to the service center but.i just want to make sure i wont pay for nothing
