Hi Community,

I want to know as X-Reality for Mobile works. In particular, this alghoritm improve colors ONLY in photos and videos or also in ALL screens of the Xperia smartphones, as home and drawer?

Additionally, X-Reality for Mobile increase contrast in ALL screens or not or ONLY in photos and videos?

I sense the difference in fullscreen photos and videos only, but this is just an observation not a definite information.

So, in conclusion, there are not differences in the home screens and drawer using X-reality for Mobile or not?

And the contrast, how functions on Xperia Z2? It is increased with X-Reality for Mobile or not (in ALL screens)?

Only using the album and video apps. ~~Not on any other window nor app.~~ The X-reality will work on the homescreen but might not work with all third party apps.

You can test it quite simple

take a screenshot with X-reality on > turn off X-reality > take another screenshot of the same page/app, compare them.

Your correction say that the X-Reality for Mobile (and the Super Vivid Mode) works with the Album and Video apps and with the homescreens and drawer of the Xperia devices?

With the other apps can works but you are not sure?

Please, for me and other users, can give a complete answer of this technology of Sony?

It's important for us to know how and with apps and screens it works!

I tried openning the same photo with Album and Pixlr, yet I noticed image enhancement on Album app only. Seems like X-reality works with Sony apps (and may be with other apps that Sony has granted utilizing the technology).

I agree with @Quester it works fine with Sony apps, but not with third parties, I think @Rickard could elaborate on this.

X-Reality for Mobile will not work for 3:rd party apps. It only works for our apps.

The information i have is that it works for pictures and videos displayed in our media apps (for example Album and Movies/Video) and that it's not active for the normal menus.

Super-vivid mode should be also effective for gaming experiences & home screen.
